I found this verse in Isa 6, "In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly."

Covering one's face isn't the same as a head covering.

Good point. I guess covering the face and covering the head is the same thing for LS.

Oh, another point he made was that when a woman goes before God with cut hair, it confuses the angels because the woman is out of the "order of creation". LS can "feel" whether or not woman in a church are following this order because if they cut their hair, he can feel the "confusion"

If you look up the Hebrew word for face in Isaiah 6:2 in Strong's these are the definitions it gives:

It seems to indicate the front portion (anterior as opposed to posterior) whereas the head is the top of our bodies anatomically speaking. Sometimes I cover my face when praying to God especially when I'm telling him something I'm ashamed of. Not sure that is why the angels cover their faces.

I'm finding it very difficult to understand why a sinful man can approach God "uncovered" and a holy angel has to "cover" himself in God's presence????????

A woman who completes a Nazarite vow (Numbers 6) in the OT and shaves her head according to the law that God gave Moses would send LS's confusion radar into hysterics!

Just this morning the adult SS teacher said that the Hebrew word for Mercy Seat means "Covering".
