I suppose a good place to start would be in reading those books and realizing that "the 5 books" haven't been around for 6,000 years nor do they even make that claim for themselves.

These guys just ramble out with a bunch of stuff that we are never supposed to question and never "analyze." You're just supposed to jump up when they holler and holler yourself. What's really the point to all of this?

No truth, no teaching; just a bunch of hollering back and forth about stuff that simply isn't the way it really happened in history.

I am looking at it now, he cherry picks his translators. Starting at 9 minutes he starts chaining things together. He makes it seem like its a unanimous chorus of academics that agree with what he is saying and his logical conclusions based on such writings.

Guess the evidence and post-mortems of what he has said over the last 2 years via internet audio/video has sucked the wind out of those that got offended last time we said that.

He should take the "evangelist" out of his title. Him hitting on this at every opportunity takes away from a evangelists job of soul winning.

Love him or hate him, I admire guys like Tim Downs and some others of this new generation that go out and actually compel people to repent and be baptized on the streets and teach others how to do it.

Classic example of making Greek words mean what they want them to mean in each scripture!! And assuming what the writer meant!! Who, by the way,has been dead for a few minutes!!!!

This is one example I have heard for years!!! It would go something like; I believe and preach the Bible and only the Bible I believe when the Bible says Jonah was swallowed by a fish it was a fish!! It was not a whale the whale is a mammal and the Bible says it was a fish!!!! But the when preaching doctrine they take words like "shame" as in this video and microanylize it to fit the need!!!!
