I don't oppose the Civil Rights Act, it served it's purpose. It was about people and not a sexual lifestyle. I don't consider homosexuality to be anywhere near the same category as a civil rights issue, but it looks good in court.

Romans 13 says government and civil powers are ordained by God for the purpose of punishing evil and rewarding good.
Romans 1 says homosexuality is against nature, and Romans 2 includes it in a list of capital offenses deserving the death penalty.
Psalm 2 commands governments to embrace the rule of Christ lest they face the wrath of God.
All legislation is 'moral', it's just a question of who's morality is going to be legislated. As Christians, we have sided with God and the Bible. Non-Christians of course object to that. Thus, the world is at war against God and Christianity.
God, however, will ultimately win.

The northern states were also segregated, and in fact Ohio for instance at one time forbad any 'negroes' from residing in the state at all.
You slur of 'southern states' is duly noted, and dismissed as standard public school system ignorance.

I know this. But how many others do? If I would have said Northern states someone would have jumped all over me. Stop trying to show off.

As much as it pains me to tell you this, but in America we are supposed to be governed by the constitution. Not the bible.

Well you are wrong. DOMA gave rights to one group of Americans and denied rights to another. How is that not a civil rights issue?

Making it a civil rights issue was the only way they could move the agenda forward. Say it enough, people will start believing it.
Ethnicity is not in the category of sexual preference. You can believe whatever the liberal MSM wants to say to change our country.
More plainly, where "two" men stick their private parts is not the same as a man/woman relationship. I don't care if it would be my son or yours. And for the record, and never having participated in sodomy myself, I don't advocate the practice for either group - homosexuals or hetrosexuals, for medical reasons.
