a nation tha forgets god gets the wrath of god ....thats is a scripture. sin will always bring bad things .
luckily we have alot of folsk who love god in this country as well ,,but way to many compremisers in washington.
they have forsaken the fountain of living waters and hewed them out cistrens that can hold no water.

That "curse of Ham" thing was and is still common.
The problem is, not all of the "descendants of Ham" were ever considered "African" in any way. The inhabitants of Shinar and Nimrod himself descended from Ham.

If anyone hates anyone else, it isn't because of a television preacher with a bad toupee. It is because of personal issues they themselves are dealing with.
When a person or a group doesn't want to except the "other" they will find the weakest link to pick at.
NoW, I noticed that you bypassed my question. You discovered a problem, yet you haven't offered a solution. Since, loose lips sink ships, would you care to advise us on how to prevent a situation like Robertson's foible happening in the future?

Oh please, it rains on the just and the unjust. Every great disaster is not a judgment of God. Is there really anyway to tell which disasters are and which are not God's judgments?

SIN brings about "bad things" as a result of the sin itself.... but this is not the same as the "wrath of God". For instance, the corruption and crime bring about poverty which also (surprise surprise) can and does lead to radically slip shod construction.

That's where my tax dollars have been going! Lousy cisterns that can't hold water are leaking tax money too!
Ezekiel 18:20-22 is how God judges people and their nation.
