Here is where the problem starts and ends! There is not enough of this anymore! If you do enough of this everything else falls into place.
I'm all for praying and fasting. It's absolutely necessary, but .......... you know as well as I do that there are times when fasting and praying doesn't bring about the results we hope for. There've been times when much prayer and fasting went on for a considerable amount of time with no break.
Then there've been times when there was no concerted concentrated prayer and fasting but suddenly, unexpectedly, out of the blue ...... WHOOSH ..... came a move of God so awesome and so mighty. All we could do was stand in amazement.
God is sovereign. The times of His Spirit moving doesn't always synchronize with our desire or our efforts to achieve it.
But I agree with you Rev. There is a lack of prayer and fasting. However, I also feel that there is a hunger and desire and a move toward more of it. I see that happening.

if you open your eyes when you shout you are out of order
if you bust your head on the back post while running you are out of order and deserved it
if you fall out in the spirit and someone has to throw a towel over your carcass then you are out of order for sure
if you are spelling medicine really fast or the old see my tie stuff then you are out of order
if you fall out when anyone but me lays hands on you then you are out of order.
I am understanding your point. I am seeing the truth in what you say but I can't completely, 100% agree with you.
You see, in scripture we are told oftentimes to do things on faith alone. No feeling, no visible manifestation, nothing but faith and obedience.
I have proven in my own life.. that when I push through, something does happen and it is no longer empty.
The children of Israel marched around Jericho only because they were told to.
They shouted with a voice of triumph only because they were told to.
The walls came down, because they obeyed what they were told to do.
True and I imagine they had to faith to believe. The leader (Joshua) presented himself in such a way that they knew they would see results. Amen!
YES! We were visiting a church and a man was running around during the song service. The pastor said, "There's your true worshipper."
Wow, I will never forget that. I was thinking the elderly lady that may have stayed up all night in prayer because she grew up learning to pray was also a true worshipper.
But that's just me.
Not saying this is so in your case... but I've known preachers to speak first and get "corrected" by thier wives later.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Very true. I was in a situation where I fasted and prayed and God did nothing, but remove us from the situation. Intense situation. He didn't fix the broken until nine years later. I am thankful for those people that are now having victory.
During that horrible time we were blamed for what was going on AND my daughter decided to act up. A woman came up to me in church and said, "Well, they have good kids."
Lord! What a confusing mess.
Now, all these people are friendly with us, but only one apologized. Actually, at a youth service, she hugged me, but never said anything. I took that as the most humble thing she could do at the time. It was a mess.
I have seen the spirit on people but they were not yielding to what they were feeling. And it's very important to be led of the spirit here, but just to pray with someone. Or, put your arm around someone and start praying with. Sometimes this is all it takes for them to really let loose and let God have his way.
Wanted to refer specifically to this paragraph.
Yesterday morning I felt very "quiet" and just didn't feel up to all the calisthenics and all the requests to stand, lift your arms, clap, take hold of that one's hand, turn around and greet the one behind you, etc. etc. So I didn't.
However, the Spirit of God broke loose in the service and when that happened, nobody had to ask or tell me to do anything. I made my way to the front ..... wayyyy over on one side and into a corner where I was on my face before the Lord. Well, we had a great meeting in the corner there -- He and I.
Later, I made my way back to my pew and there was a lady standing there who I could tell was really weighed down. I felt impressed to just put my arm around her and pray with her. When I did, she broke ....... and God ministered to her there in the pew. If I hadn't acted on what I felt God was telling me to do, she might not have received help and encouragement.
And if I hadn't responded to the presence of God moving into that service and moved into that place of prayer on my face in the corner, I might not have heard what I did from the Lord either.
Thank God I obeyed, on both counts.

Every great move of God that I've ever read about started with much fasting and prayer.
Here is the sad thing about what I just said! "that I've ever read about".
You have to read about them because we are not seeing them.
After the prayer and fasting took place and the Lord came down in a powerful way, then the repentance, the worship, the praise, the infilling of the H.G., etc.. Then everything else fell into place.
