For the mom's who answered my "talking" question

My two year old, as I said before, seems to be a late talker.

Yesterday my husband was tidying up the living room (toys toys and more toys were all over the floor) and he began taking things back into Daane's room. He picked up a toy Daane was playing with a lot that day and I said, no.. Leave it there, he's been playing with that.. but he kept walking so I said HONEY.. leave it there!!! And so he laid it down by the living room door and kept on with the other toys into the room.

When he came back out Daane was carrying the toy back over to where it had been previously and was saying "eeeve iiii aaaooonnne" "eeeeeve iiiii aaaooone"
We both started laughing.. we're pretty sure he was saying "leave it alone, leave it alone!!!"

He'll talk when he's good and ready or if you mess with his stuff!

Re: For the mom's who answered my "talking" questi

I seem to have missed the "talking" question. Can you direct me to where I can find it? I looked and not knowing the title makes it hard to find. My son was a very late talker and I am just interested to know what your question was. Thanks

You can click on anyone's profile and under 'statistics' look up all posts or threads started by them.

Here's the thread you were looking for. Question for all Mothers

It was the "little people" circus. He sends his dinky cars down it and puts his "little people" in the ferris wheel and spins them till they fly off in all directions! He just lugged it out of his room a few days ago and has been playing with it every day. His favorite toys are his cars and trucks and his tools... he has more "tools" than some men I know!

AHA !!!!!!!!!! I was right!!!!!

Miss B had highlighted "if you mess with his stuff." I thought about it, and realized that men of few words aren't truly moved to expressing themselves unless somebody has gotten into their tools.

That ferris wheel is instrumental to his daily responsibility to velocitize the little people.

It really is hilarious to watch him spin those poor little people around.

I get such a kick out of kids. Especially boys. Hugging their "Bob the Builder" guy one minute and using Bob's head as a hammer the next.

That's on-the-job training to be a supervisor!

I get some very deep satisfaction at seeing my girl learn and grow and mature. She will amaze me daily with her ever-expanding vocabulary. She helps her brothers memorize verses for Bible quizzing, helps them with their piano and violin practice - in short, she's a little angel.

She likes fishing, too!

However, I get more laughs from the boys. They'll get in a pile and wrestle and giggle and yell. I tell them they're nothing but a pile of puppies with thumbs.

How old are your children OP?

I don't have any girls, so I can't compare but I'm enjoying my boys. My nephew and I were very close... I just fine them a barrel of fun.
