Any comment on v.15?

Galatians 5:13-15 (NIV)
13 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. 14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

Re: Any comment on v.15?

Amplified Bible (AMP)

13For you, brethren, were [indeed] called to freedom; only [do not let your] freedom be an incentive to your flesh and an opportunity or excuse [for [a]selfishness], but through love you should serve one another.

14For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is [b]complied with in the one precept, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.(A)

15But if you bite and devour one another [in partisan strife], be careful that you [and your whole fellowship] are not consumed by one another.

I've got tooth marks on me, if that's what you mean. What could we be if we spent our time lifting up the people around us? We could be something great. But for me to be a part of that "something" - I need you to be just as great, or even greater than me.

There's really a symbiosis and community that we need to work on perfecting when we're together.
