Re: Texas District Lets Teacher Carry Guns

I actually support teachers who have been certified to carry concealed weapons in each state being able to carry those weapons in a classroom. My only concern is of course the certifications, but also that the weapon NEVER leave the teacher's concealed person so that no one but the teacher would ever have access to the weapon.

All of us come in to contact with people everyday who have a concealed weapons permit and are carrying a weapon and if a deranged person goes on a killing spree in my proximity, I personally hope one of them is around.

OK,

Re: Texas District Lets Teacher Carry Guns

I heard one of the reasons for passing this is they are remote and would take 30 minutes for help to get to them.

I think it is a wise decison.
