I'm catching up on the RNC (DVR) and just heard this - - OH MY!!! I was moved to tears and you can tell the crowd is too!

Some were crying, I even saw a few with their hands raised!

Absolutely! I'd rather hear someone singing from their heart and a few flaws than perfect without moving me.

Beautiful!! Patriotic songs such as this, made my late father shed the
tears because he knew first hand the price that was paid for what
America has today. He wanted us to never forget that there was a
price paid. One by the shedding of blood on an old rugged cross. The
other by the shedding of blood on some battlefield.
