Has anyone read...
My sister was telling me about a book called, Lives Given not Taken. A story about Southern Baptist ( I think) missionaries that died on foreign soil.
The other day in the airport someone I was talking to mentioned this same book. I was wondering if anyone has read it?

I've heard of the other book, but never read it.
I have read all but Searching from this list. Through Gates of Splendor is the story of Alliance Church missionaries. That's the one that was made into a movie last year, right? It was a really good movie. You'd like it. Can you play American made DVD's in Brasil?

no, I haven´t...
I remember going to the Assembly of God church when I was probably 16 or so and they showed a film about a Brother Tucker that was martyred in Africa...and the suffering of the christians there...so many years ago...but it is still vivid in my mind...
