Will I have to go to Prison or Not? PRAY 4 ME!

I have been sent a Criminal Arrest Warrant for "Harasing (sic) Phone Calls" by a man that visited our church. We add everyone that visits on the Saturday Call out (www.callemall.com) and every one has the option to OPT OUT by pressing 1 at the end of the call.
He never listened to the whole message but would hang up then call the church voice mail and scream - "STOP IT" or "TAKE ME OFF THAT THANG"! He did it every week but we did not know who he was or what his # was! The very day he left his name and phone number - we deleted him from the list.
Now I have received a "Criminal Arrest Warrant for a hearing on this Wednesday night at the courthouse in front of a judge.
I could go to prison for 1 year!
What would you do in a case like this?

What would you do in a case like this?

You may have the option of getting the hearing postponed so you have time to prepare. Don't delay contacting your attorney, if you have one.

I personally get very annoyed with unsolicited phone calls--especially recorded messages.

Unsolicited meaning: I did not ask you to call me on a weekly basis.

If a real live person calls, and they aren't using a script, they have a slim chance of getting my ear.

I DO call every guest on Sunday afternoon or Monday after they visit. This is just a weekly call out to remind people of what is taking place on Sunday.

I think if there was a way to permanently opt out for someone not interested, then it's just a silly misunderstanding. Apologize and just offer to improve your service so someone could opt out before the whole message or use real people.

Is there a law against what you are doing..the weekly call out? It's not like you are asking for money or trying to sell something.

Maybe next time he visits a church, he will not leave his phone number.
