Ringtone Services
I have heard there are ringtone services that will bilk you for lots of money.
What ringtone company do you use or recommend?

I make my own ringtones from my music files.

Just got a Verizon LG. Touch screen with slide text.

No you don't have to have a blackberry for the ringtones. The applications are set up for blackberrys but my daughter downloads ringtones for her phone which is a Samsung I believe.

To edit your music files, you use a program called Audacity. Save them to a folder in the appropriate file format, and then transfer them to your phone. You'll have to look up your phone and find out what file format the music needs to be in, and what folder to put the ringtones in on your phone.
My phone, I can just hook it up to the computer, and drag and drop music files into the "Sounds" folder, and voila! I have new ringtones of my choice.
Usually you have to clip the song down to 15-20 seconds or less, so you cut out the rest of the song except the part you want for your tone.

If you have any nerdy kids or grandkids, you might want to let them do it for you, but it's not all that hard.
