Appy, that's one point that I'm not sure is true. Men I know who (even secretly) court the idea of Universalism, aren't those who disciple people toward lack of commitment, and those who have thrown in the towel for speaking the Gospel to the masses.

This post is entirely speculative. You cannot prove one point about Eternity, period. And, the more we delve into Eternity, the more that lies and manipulation are produced for effect.
Your cut and dry approach is almost comical. Your idea about who's saved and who's lost will vary from person to person, and no two people agree on this issue. It doesn’t matter if we belong to the same Denomination and go to the same Church.
If God was cut and dry, you may as well throw mercy out the window. And because you my friend are a thief, a liar, and an adulterer, there would be no hope for you.
Paul was very transparent when it came to the struggle of sin and the ways of our inward man. Apprehended, you’re hiding behind an idea that makes you better than everyone else.

Your characterization of believers in the greater hope is completely erroneous, therefore the argument fails. You would find that believers in UR are some of the most committed and dedicated Christians that you will find.
We truly believe that Jesus is the Savior, and is about the business of saving, and setting folks free. When you see God as actually the Savior, and not just the possible Savior, He is truly Almighty, and the human race is actually precious and valuable to Him. What an truly awesome God, that created the universe with a absolute plan to have Sons and Daughters of God, a bunch of them!!
May the eyes of our understanding be opened to the greatness of His might, the extent of His love.

Tell me sir...
Just how deep is THAT love? Just how wide and expansive is that mercy? Just how limited is that Grace? Is it limited at all? Will it extend to the devil and all of the angels which formerly inhabited heaven?

Re: The Slippery Emergent Slope
For those of you who really believe this, why are you even debating about it?
After all, we will all wind up in the same place.
So why worry about doctine?

Pure arrogance! It's a sad day when people rejoice over the fallen. This is what I’m talking about, Apprehended, you are a modern day Pharisee.
Yep, and you’re better than them, living in a Country that has murdered over 50 million unborn children since 1973. We have our own Holocaust, while you’re doing your little dance.

That doesn't make sense. As if Appy or others (like me who denounce Universalism as an errant doctrine) don't see Jesus as Savior. If anything, our emphasis on His saving role -- and the urgency of His saving role are all the more.
