Actually our ED has 20 rooms so it couldn't be a ER.
Google it! Sorry. Just me being silly about the cold water post.

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
However, at what point must a person begin to conclude that God is simply not "in the UPC" - or at least not there to the extent that the UPC claims?
My own "negative UPC experiences" weren't just when the UPC was having a "bad day..." The toleration of sinful practices amongst the ministry and the blatant abuse of power and control coupled with the too oftentimes silly "exegesis" of Scripture to support just flat out weird teachings goes right to the core of the way the entire organization is run.
It's a mess. A mess that millions have walked away from to the saving of their own souls. Me? I got in too deep so here I am. But I'm not going to be quiet about the abuses anymore.
Every time someone comes up with a "miracle" - I'm going to ask questions.
It does seem that JA's case was simply one where the subject (JA) passed out and was truly unresponsive for either a few or even several minutes. That he is up and moving around now is great! Just how this case gets used remains to be seen.
Yeah, I'm not saying UPC is issue free or we should turn our brain apps off upon arival to the UPC, but while some messed up things happens many good things have happened as well. Doesn't mean things should go unchecked, I think one thing many orgs lack is accountability.

Some questions and scrutiny should be expected when fantastic claims are made. That actually has potential of further substantiating the real deal and should be welcomed.
When evidence is scant or questionable it receives limited coverage by the greater population - the very segment we want to reach with the gospel.
