I titled this thread this, as I have a minor announcement of significant import.
Sometime in the middle of next year, my sister-in-law will be having a child. We have no knowledge yet as to what it will be, but the wait has begun. So I am on my way to being an uncle.

I too am awaiting a new niece or nephew! Hope to find out which it is today. My baby sister is due mid April and I can't wait to have another baby around now that mine are both in their teens. Let the spoiling begin! congrats Uncle Jay!

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2 KJV
The wonderful thing about being an uncle is that you can have fun with the kid for a while -and then leave when you've had enough (or they need changing).
