James Randy thinks it's a hoax. I very much believe it works and I have seen it many many times and have personally done it accurately.

I was leery when I first heard of it, having never witnessed it personally. However, my father in law swears by it. He has found both of his wells using this method. When brought up in conversation, I defer to him because of his experience with it. I plan on getting him to do it again when we dig our well.

A couple of years ago, I experimented with dowsing, especially pendulum dowsing. It was my experience there were negative energies very active in the experiments.

I'd not do it again and would advise anyone who's considering doing it to be very careful.

I have no experience with pendulum dowsing nor had I even heard of it before this week. But I will add that a persons experience with anything can be greatly affected by the person that is doing the demo.

For instance, I found a video of a guy doing L Rod Dowsing and he was talking about how you had to clear your mind and visualize a stream of water flowing.


Pffft... You can open your eyes and visualize a cheeseburger and it works. He just put some freaky mumbo jumbo in with the mix that didn't belong.

But you can't find water while visualizing cheeseburgers because that would amount to doing some research.

Alright. You've piqued my interest in what you speak of. I use L Rods to dowse for water and there's nothing spiritual about it. It would work for you.. .it would work for your pastor... it would work for Jesus Christ.

But... my interest is in this.

Do tell what demonic forces you have seen when someone was dowsing for water. Also... how many times have seen this? How many people have you seen dowse?

It seems to me that you might have had an experience with someone who, themselves, view this as spiritual and use the method in a spiritual fashion and you have applied THEIR spirituality upon the method you witnessed them using.
