I have no experience with pendulum dowsing nor had I even heard of it before this week. But I will add that a persons experience with anything can be greatly affected by the person that is doing the demo.
For instance, I found a video of a guy doing L Rod Dowsing and he was talking about how you had to clear your mind and visualize a stream of water flowing.
Pffft... You can open your eyes and visualize a cheeseburger and it works. He just put some freaky mumbo jumbo in with the mix that didn't belong.
