The real point of salvation is not a discussion on whether it is of works or faith. The real point is this. If your really a born again spirit filled believer there is no debate about salvation, whether you are to be baptised, live righteously, or so on.

I'm the kind of person that believes it is a free gift of God and the works part isn't the acting on things by faith to receive it. I believe it is the part that you or no one else will ever live up to, that you should deserve it.

Unless someone wants to make themselves equal with the sufferings of Christ.

Re: Born of water and Spirit to enter heaven

Jesus didn't say we had to be born again to go to heaven. He said we must be again again to be in the Kingdom of God. There is a difference.

OK. But will everyone in the Kingdom of God go to heaven, and everyone who isn't, not go to heaven? (As of the time of their death, I suppose?)

Re: Born of water and Spirit to enter heaven

This demonstrates a collective mis-interpretation of Scripture. One can not go to Heaven. There is no place to go to. "The day of death is better than the day of birth" points to this.
It is the collective definition of Heaven that is incorrect here.

But since that is prolly hard to track, I'll add that the Kingdom of Heaven is right beside you, and the only way to get any closer is to turn. There is no magical pass to it, ie "when you die."
