I think many religious leaders get themselves whipped up into a psychological fury wherein they loose all touch with reality and believe their notions are absolute truth. I don't see them as entirely evil men... they are in some ways... victims of the enemy. Self deluded.
I don't either. But the constant adoration they receive DOES affect them whether they, or anyone else, admits it. It is impossible to stay even remotely humble when you have thousands of screaming fans whenever you take the stage.
Recently Stoneking spoke in Visalia, Ca. He told the sheeple that Osama had 40 wives who were in prison for 7 yrs. Someone preached to them about the Holy Ghost. All 40 were baptized in Jesus' name. 28 of them spoke in tongues.
I have a short audio clip that was sent to me. I'll try to upload it when I get home.
Can you provide any additional information as to where you received the file from? It sounds like it was recorded on a cell phone. I emailed the folks @ http://www.plvisalia.org/ and they responded that they don't own the rights to those sermons that I have to get in touch with Simon Productions. Will keep you posted.

From a friend. I asked if he'd/she'd get the full sermon. He or she doesn't want to waste a buck on that mess.

Someone else might want to waste a buck, though...what's the original source?

The funny thing is that the LS supporters who find this thread will be quick to castigate those who criticize him but will not acknowledge anything wrong on his part. Truly the definition of syncophants.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
Quote from Ethel Goss (widow of 1st UPC Gen Supt. Howard Goss) book "The Winds of God"
Agreed, but then when would I hear the next person tell me about their best friends uncles Caddy that got 38 miles to the gallon until they took it in for a mandatory repaid replacing the experimental carburetor which was accidentally installed, with the correct one, after which it only got the "normal" 21 mph?
I enjoy those stories. They really do keep life interesting... does not mean they have any semblance of truth though.

Syncophants. Has a nice ring to it too!
