Thoughts are "energy" and brain activity can even be measured, traced, and recorded. Are spirit beings composed of a kind of low level "energy"? Some have said that this is why the temperature appears to drop in a room during an encounter with an evil spirit. The "spirit" is literally absorbing the energy (including heat) in the room in order to manifest or act out. It has also been said that evil spirits "feed" on "negative energies" such as "depression", "fear", "hatred", or "anger" and that this is why they seek to instill fear or to provoke to depression, hatred, and/or anger. When we become fearful or when we begin fighting and arguing do we literally make the spirit stronger? It has also been said that when we pray, worship, and praise we increase positive energy wherein God abides and this drains the power of evil spirits making them subject to our authority.
I know this sounds a bit sterile or analytical in its description. But is there any truth to this??? Is there a "physics" to the "spiritual"?

interesting subject, i have no clue but i think roger penrose has a few books on the quantum physics of consciousness. i believe he is the leading authority in this field. i believe he has several youtubes also.

Deepak Chopra? He is clueless, talk about someone who is blind and in darkness. Why would any Christian seek knowledge from him?

These thoughts are nothing more than New Age parachology mumbo-jumbo. A spirit (demon) will give whatever manifestation that is necessary to persuade a person of their existance. The fact is that if you are more concerned about being around an evil spirit than God, you are worshipping that spirit. I have found that I do not need fluctuating ambient temperatures, flickering lights, abhorrent smells, or other 'spiritual' phenomena to perceive the presence of an evil spirit. Further, when I have perceived one, I then turn my entire focus to God, His word, His glory, His praises, and His presence. Shortly, there is not a devil in sight.
