Luk 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Mat 19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

The Bible is secondary? C'mon Seek. That's like taking the banana leafs away from remote jungle tribes and introducing them to dinnerware, only to see them trash the dinnerware and demand: "gimme back my banana leaf". I'll give up my bible...when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Could be. How long have you hated your mother and father and loved your neighbor? And how is hating your mother and father while loving your neighbor honoring them?
