They said that all of the children received counseling from a certified professional and that their son paid his own counseling fees.

Yes, Lena Dunham gets to explore with her little sister, no repercussion. Bruce Jenner will be given an award for bravery and is calling himself the "new normal".
Yet, the Duggars get no mercy. It is especially horrible because they used the "f" word - forgiveness.

I can't either. Very tough. I hope the whole family can rise above this. The media certainly won't grant mercy.

Re: Duggar interview
Let's look at it this way. A child is raised in a gay home, with two gay parents. At 14, it is discovered that the boy has touched his brother inappropriately. What would be the proper action for the gay parents to take? Should they say, well its okay, he is just exploring his sexuality? This seems to be what has happened in Lena Dunham's case... hmm.... the hypocrisy is sickening.
So the real problem here is not the abuse... the problem is where it happened, in a Christian home, with parents who have been in the spotlight for trying to raise their children in a godly way, and it is the media and liberal minded folks who want to destroy them because they stand for something that opposes their agenda.
And we must remember this.... just because we are Christians, does not mean we are not above the temptations and lusts of the flesh that lead to sin... the difference is what Christians are supposed to do with those lusts of the flesh, and how they approach them, that is where the difference lies.
In Christ, we can overcome the lusts of the flesh and sins of the heart by turning to Christ, and by seeking repentance, forgiveness and hope. It seems this is what this boy tried to do from all accounts.
However, what is making the liberals mad is that this boy changed, overcame, and moved on with his life, instead of being labeled a child molester, and going on to commit more crimes, and eventually being committed to jail for the rest of his life... which is what usually happens in such a situation.
I will be praying for this family that they use this attack against them to show and highlight the love and mercy of Christ that is able to reach out and change the darkest and most hopeless of situations.

Im all about forgiveness. I really am. One time maybe two. He has been accused of molestation on five occasions.

Interesting huh? Actually, I believe this is just starting (save for God's intervention) & the future doesn't look too promising.
There is an all out war by liberals on any & all that are not the way they are!
Heaven looks soooo good!
