So, from the interview, they did their homework and did the best they could to help their children by not throwing their son under the bus in order to help the girls as well.
It was an extremely difficult situation for them. And I believe they handled it very well as parents.
And if what they are saying is truth - we need to pray that God will use this situation to help other families. After all, he didn't have intercourse with them. That would have been much, much worse for all involved.
And, again, I want to say that the boy confessed to his deeds. That speaks very well for him in my book. I don't know how many offenders would snitch on themselves - hardly any, I would imagine.

I agree with what I know of the Duggars' actions, so long as they made sure to get the girls any help that they needed. Putting their son in the legal system would have been of absolutely NO benefit.
