There are medical cases, without any doubt.
But in so many cases in Pentecost, it is a matter of food being the center of entertainment because everything else is a sin. Get together with a bunch of church people and look at the food - massive amounts, most of it high calorie stuff. People go out to eat after church - usually late. Most don't get much exercise. Many times, it is pretty simple -- more calories going in than being used.

Yes, I used to juice a lot more than what I do now. I still do juice, but I have read it is better to eat the fruit or veg. whole. The advantage to juicing is you have it already broken down for you and it goes straight into the blood stream. I do have a vita mix which blends everything smooth and you don't have to strain it out, even seeds. I leave the green stem and leaves on the tomatoes (when they come from my garden) and blend away. After making homemade tomato juice with fresh tomatoes there was never any food left over. I grind all my flour from berries (but I stay away from the wheat as much as possible) with the vita mix. I have a food dehydrator but have never used it. I have a raw food cookbook that uses the dehydrator a lot, so I have been planning on getting it out and use it. It takes a lot of time to change old habits and people supporting you. When we lived in Germany it was easy, because they eat healthy over there and you could get what you needed easily and I had a lot of support.

A lot of what we call food isn't food it is just more toxins for our body to have to work with. This just fills us up but doesn't satisfy our hunger. Therefore we are always hungry and the body is ready to eat hoping once again we will get nutrients in us, only to be disappointed with more toxins. Making it very hard to wake up in the morning.
If you are tried after you eat a meal your food isn't helping you. Your food is your fuel and it should energize you.

My juicer is more simple and can not do the stems...but it does the seeds, skins etc. I can't eat enough fruit or vegies to get the benefit so this works well for me...and I do have pulp so I will save some and dehydrate it and make fruit powder...at this stage its experimentation! Which is fun!

Do you remember the magazine where the hermophdite was healed??? I would put much credibility in anything posted in Miracle Magazine. I used to have a bunch of them but during the years they got destroyed. Thanks for posting that.

Bro. Epley,
That, too, was reported in the September, 1961 issue (along with "A New Toe of Oscar" and the woman featured above. You can see this issue of MM at
I'd love to find some old issues of MM. They're available on CD at
I plan to order them one of these days, but I'd love to have some of the actual magazines.

Here's another "Blast from the Past" you may remember. (I can remember listening to this album!)
