I have to say Jesus I love you is one of my Favorites too.. The first time I heard it.. was at JCM.. they were having a jam session after chapel service and my hubby and Brian (the person who sings it on their cd) were singing it together and the holy ghost fell in that place and we had an awesome awesome time.. It has really just touched my heart every time I hear it... however what I cannot stand is when they sing it without the verses and for an hour during altar call!

I have not read all of this thread, a good portion so I don't know if this song has been listed.

God is an Awesome God! I love that song because to me He is Awesome and He does reign!

Another song that has much meaning to me is "Let us have a little talk with Jesus" don't remember if that is the exact title or not. An old song.

I have enjoy reading the ones posted and it does indeed bring about many memories.

Oh I agree. I had to go to lunch and I don't remember what page I was on. But I plan to read it all.

It has been very good.

Oh, she spent many, many weeks with her in our services. Parkersburg, WV - J.C. Cole. She was a TRIP!!! Her son Scotty, a police officer in Charleston, WV just recently passed away - so I heard.

I believe it was in the 80's. Billy Cole preached her funeral. I'll never forget her playing the piano and singing, "That little 'ol wooden church" ! Only 1 like her. Do you remember when she had a Sister Charlene travel with her and played music for her?

Yes, and it sure brings back memories of her. I was just a kid but I can still picture her face. And I loved her cape.

I don't think I have seen it mentioned but one of my favorites is "I Can't Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand"

A similar song that holds greater meaning for me is Hallelujah Square. My dad and mom used to sing that sing often and it was always blessed. My dad was not a shouter... never saw him dance in the Spirit in my life... but he was a worshiper with a very large and very tender heart. He would start singing the verses to that song and the tears would begin to flow and the Holy Ghost would begin to move. Then, after he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, I remember one of the rare times I was in service with them (I was backslidden throughout my dad's sickness and didn't come back to God until 4 years after Dad's death) and in his frail condition with a black patch over the eye that cancer had taken Dad began to sing "I saw a blind man... tapping along..." and then moved into the chorus and began to sing "I'll see all my friends up in Hallelujah square.." and the hardened heart of this long term sinner just broke...

I believe a seed was planted that day that took four plus years to germinate and produced a result when the time was right.

So... I guess Hallelujah Square might be my favorite!
