They need to talk about putting a cap on how many billions the gas companies can make - - this is just nuts!

It's a global marketplace. We can't dictate to OPEC what their rules are going to be.

If we spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs. If we purchase a computer it will go to India. If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala. If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan. If we purchase useless stuff it will go to Taiwan. Therefore, none of the above will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America, and the only way to do that is to spend it at yard sales... since those are the only true American businesses remaining.

Thank you for your dutiful attention to this matter.

There you go talking serious and sensible again, Scott! I can guarantee you most pastors will give you a big "AMEN" on this one. In fact, they might even ask you to preach after this statement! LOL

(You do know that I'm having a little fun with ya, doncha, brother? I love ya!)

I take it you're looking at that stimulus check as a kind of "seed money", eh?

Put the money in the offering, get invited to preach, then they give you an offering worth 100 times the amount you put in the plate. LOL!! Good thinking, Scott!

I'd be honored to have you come up here and preach, Scott. The problem is that you'd spend all your offering money just getting here.

Did I tell you I have family in Fairhope? Maybe I'll bring my mom down sometime to visit them and if I do, we'll come to your church to hear you preach there. Deal?
