Focus... take a deep breath... slowly count from 1 to 10... then read the article I linked to and get on the same page, bro.

Hey Steve, have you decided whether or not you're going to be heading up this way again later this year?

I was born human without a choice.

Hey Dan, I think everyone here agrees that man is born with a sinful nature. The question is whether he is born with Adam's transgression reckoned to him. Thus, is man born a sinner due to a sin imputed to him he did not personally commit? Is man born spiritually dead or spiritually alive only to subsequently die?

The article I linked to above briefly covers the majority of views taken on this issue. Hopefully, Steve will read some of it.

I do not think man is born spiritually alive however I do not believe anyone is born saved. However one is born that in time they will have will free. I believe all are born innocent with a nature that is disposed to sin and will sin if given the time and choice.

I haven't read the article yet.

The Reclaiming the Mind site is probably my favorite site on the internet at the moment. I've gone through their Trinitarian, Theology, Hermeneutics and Bibliography classes and I'm finishing up with Humanity and Sin soon. But I became annoyed with their discussion on Transducianism and Creationist view of the origin of the soul and now they are getting into free will (they are Calvinists) so...I've taken a couple weeks off to go back with a fresh mind.

The blog on that site, Parchment and Pen, has some good stuff too. But you have to take the good and leave the bad.

You are saying what I would like to say... but how possibly can one be born with imputed sin of Adam and still be innocent...

I like that "double imputation" thinking - that puts one of my legs inside the Lutheran Church.
