I don't think that is what they have lined up.

I think it works like this.

You default on your loan.

The bank gets your house AND they get reimbursed for the lost mortgage payments.

One of my things is that I love buying new music, but never have room for it in my budgets. I started using an Amazon Visa card, instead of my check card. I deduct all my purchases on it, imediately from my checking account, and then pay my balance in full every month....

About every other month, I charge enough to get a $25 amazon gift certificate, which gets me at least 2 CD's. This is how I finance my music obsession.

I was just playing, but that is not how I understood some of the proposals on the table. Some of the proposals seemed to involve helping the resident keep the house and not just reimbursing the bank for losses.

Limewire.com...tons of free music. When I do buy music I generally download specific songs from walmart for .98. I got tired of buying a full CD for $20 and only liking 1 or 2 songs.

You can get them from songtouch.com and you won't be supporting one of the worst overseas job shippers in this nations history.

At Amazon, they range between $9.99 and $13.99, for the actual CD (if you spend over $25, you can get free shipping).

I prefer to have the actual CD, because if my ipod gets stolen, or my computer blows up, I will still have the music.

When our old lawn mower went kaput, I bought an old-fashioned non-motorized push one. Not only was it a quarter of the price, but it doesn't require gas or oil, or constant repair. (Also, it actually is easier to push because it weighs a lot less)
LOL! I cut my son's hair. Hopefully the other kids aren't secretly mocking him!! Many years ago, when I was in the UPC, I taught a Bible study to a woman who was a hairdresser and she taught me how. I've cut his hair ever since. I used to cut my husband's but he's since gone to a flat-top and wants it done every three weeks, I told him to go to the barber. I did give him a couple of flat-tops. The first one he was not happy with at all. But he asked me to try and so it's his own fault! (I only know one hairstyle and he was forewarned!) And then he went to some people in town and they did a worse job than I did, so I did it again and then kicked him off to a barber who does a great job when every other day he was asking for a haircut and I told him he never knew when I might do another "W" cut instead of a flattop!.

I have thought of going to a push mower. But that's kind of my husband's dept.

Re: How to Save Money

This may not be the case in all areas of the country, but if you are shopping at several grocery stores to get their advertised specials you might want to check with your Walmart store. Locally, Walmart will match any competitor's ad. You just need to take the ad in with you when you shop. Would save extra gas and time going to the different stores.
