Maybe they'll be in an isolated section, and think they're the only ones that made it. They'll be happier, and so will everyone else!

Re: Poll: How many agree with this view of Salvati

I thought Jesus came to seek and to save - that which was LOST!
Sad thing - people think they can keep other people - that they disagree with - Out of HEAVEN and they are HAPPY that they will be the only ones there!
Well, They will be VERY Surprised! LOL

Bro. Epley,

Maybe they just haven't been born yet! Of water and Spirit!

Seeds have to be sown, and a process gone through before a child enters into the world. Woud it be safe to say it would work the same with a spiritual birth.

There are people who simply have not sown the seeds they had.

They had the Word preached to them as children and they received the New Birth, yet they never taught or made it available to their children. How can their children be born again if the seed of the Word is not planted in their hearts. Word = Faith!

My entire life has been a process from seeds planted as a child,.and nurtured by my pastor father and mother, from a grandmother and others that helped nurture that seed in my heart. Today our six adult children and their spouses and our twenty grandchildren have either been born again of water and Spirit, or the seed of the Word is being planted into these young ones. It is a continual process.

Seedtime and harvest. No seed planted, no watering, no harvest!

How many natural fathers want someone coming over and planting seed in their garden. No, that is THEIR garden and they want to do their own sowing. Our late father did his part in planting his "natural" garden (family) but never did he cease to sow the Word of God into our young hearts from small children and later (I was 19 yrs) in the spiritual garden he plowed up in a small town and planted for over 30 yrs. before he was called Home. That garden was planted and sowed for me and my ten siblings and others who would work in this garden.

This garden has become a field and many families work and serve there now. Dad has been gone 19 yrs. this month. We will celebrate 50 yrs. in this garden/field, on a Nov. 2008 weekend. Three generations of my own
family, my husband and I still remain in this field of labor. He that shall endure until the end (of our life) shall be saved!

Too many expect someone else to do what they should have done themselves. Like those who live off the government. It becomes a way of life. My late parents never looked to the government for their help. They saw how in the Great Depression, that vain was the help of man. Their parents suffered because they didn't know that they could look to God and HE would supply all their needs according to His Riches in glory, by Christ Jesus. But thank God for an elderly white-haired man, sent from God, who was willing to share some of the produce out of his (spiritual) garden and feed others from the fruit (of the Spirit) produced by the Word of God in his own heart. (I heard from someone of that time that Bro. G's. own family did not support him
in the message he believed). So he went out into the highways and byways and into the streets of small towns for those who had suffered through the Great Depression, and were hungring and thirsting for Living Bread and Water.

He first came preaching a little prophecy and then afterwards, the gospel plan of salvation found in the second chapter of Acts.

Thank God my grandmother and her young son, my late father, heard, and Grandma Lizzie searched it out, and allowed the words this man was sowing, to become planted in her heart. That was five generations ago. Judge nothing before the time! GOD'S FULNESS of time. When a woman is pregnant, she is not ready to deliver until the "FULNESS" of time. And believe you me, she starts to feel like it's time, a good while before DELIVERANCE comes!!! Ladies, can I hear an AMEN!!!!

Had no idea this would be this long! Hopefully it will encourage someone to do their part. If you father it, you take care of it. Whether in the natural or in the spiritual. Dad, thank you for taking the responsibility of what you planted as a father (natural and spiritual) for as long as you lived. You nurtured your natural children to young adulthood, made a place where they could continue or could expand further out, to make a place for their own gardens (families). You took care of the field you planted for your own and for whosoever would come and enjoy the fruit of laboring there.

Thank you, Mom, for serving alongside Dad, mothering and nurturing the natural children and the children God would add to the field, in years to come. I rise up and called you "Blessed" today, for I am a product of "THE BLESSING".

The Promise of the Father to Abraham, because he BELIEVED GOD
and it was credited
to him for righteousness. (Gal.3:7, "Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. Gal.3: 26-29, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.(like a garment) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And IF ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE."

Very good presentation/offshoot of Urshan's Conceived but not yet born doctrine.

Bro. Keith4Him,

Interesting! I was unaware there was a teaching called Conceived but
not born doctrine!
In 1Cor.4:14,15, Paul is telling the Corinthians, "I write not these things to
shame you, but as my beloved sons I warm you (sounds like a true father).
For though you have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have you not
many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
In Christ anyone can sow the seed (Word of God) but someone must! In
our case, Grandma studied, taught and learned alongside guiding her young
son, my father. In my late father's family, he sowed the gospel seed into
our hearts. If no seed is sown, nothing will be produced.

Last night at church, a lady that is around 50 yrs. old, told me I sowed
some words into her heart years ago (she was a neighbor)that have just
now come to fruition. She received the Holy Ghost last week on her back
patio after seeking God after hearing a message on receiving the Holy Ghost
the previous week at our church. After hearing the message, she remember-
ed the words I had told her years ago, "Debbie, you don't seek tongues, you
seek for the Holy Spirit". When you receive it, the tongues will come". She
said she had been seeking the wrong thing but started seeking HIM, and a
few days later began to speak in tongues while seeking Him in sincerity and
truth.
She, her husband and two sons came for a while to church when my dad
was yet alive. He sowed some seed back then.

Blessings,

Falla39
