Obama is going to win, our nation will never be the same again after he and the Dems are done with it, we always talk about end times, Jesus coming back the end time revival etc. Now when it coming nobody wants it, we are to addicted to our lifestyle and comfort. Everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die, mentality.
I am not a pessimist, I am a faith preacher, but this must happen sometime, to someone, why do we think that we are any better than any other generation.
I think that many of you preacher types are disconnected from reality. When I was a computer technician for LexisNexis I got laid off. When I went to find work I found myself competing with technicians from India here on specialized work Visas. I then did some research...the Government was issuing these work Visas to various corporations like they were CANDY just so they could hire cheap foreign labor...at the expense of AMERICAN FAMILIES. That's the only REAL American VALUES the Republican party lives by...the value of the almighty dollar. My family got washed out and just when we get back on our feet the gas prices skyrocket and the housing market tanks and we're gouged to death. That's food out of the mouths of my children pal. And as far as I'm concerned those who are colluding with corporate power (ON BOTH SIDES) are going to pay for every second of fear and agony our families have endured....along with the idiotic preachers who tell us to vote for those extortionists. They blame the housing problem are CRA....but what these idiots don't tell you is that most of these ARMs that went sour...DON'T QUALIFY under CRA! In addition the CRA doesn't demand ARMs, ARMs were just a tool divised by various lenders in effort to fulfill some of the CRA's requirements, then when they saw how easy it was to lend, lend, lend and make profit off the interest, they over extended by lending to those who couldn't pay. They were AFTER MONEY honey. And guess what...the Bible calls that USURY, and it's a sin!
I got news for you...darkness is coming to America. But it isn't the Democrats who will bring it...nor is it the Republicans. The real problem is that darkness is overwelming our land because the church has become the political lap dog of an earthly political establishment, just like the Catholic church of old! And it's all the political nutcase preachers who are doing it to us. Scaring us into voting the way the pulpit wants us too...news flash...church is BUSINESS. And guess what party panders to BUSINESS? It's not rocket science folks. The church is in bed working up a sweat with the Republican harlot. America is doomed as long as the church is in bed with the system.
Perhaps real Christians would either back out of politics and EVANGELIZE or just allow Christians to vote their concience and focus on EVANGELISM. Either way...the key to fighting the darkness is to spread the light...not elect John McCain!
I voted for GWB in 2000, and I definitely see the error of my ways and have regretted that greatly. The election of GWB certainly hasn't brought the favor or blessing of God upon this country.
Elections don't bring the blessing and favor of God. That has to come through our churches spreading the truth of the Gospel and people being moved by the Spirit of God to repetenance. The recipes never changed.

I'm voting Obama because I'm a policy wonk who works for the government and I crunch numbers all day. We can't sustain a functioning nation on what we have now. The Republicans will break the bank and America will be just like Brazil...only the extravantly rich and the extremely poor.
