We made Pea Hull Jelly this year from the hulls of those Purple Hull Peas. Good stuff.
We will be getting a storm cellar soon hopefully and I am considering getting a reel type that you push. That way we have options when there is no gas.
Some of the old ways are still around. There is a lot of hard work involved but, if it is what you like, then every ounce of it brings life to your being.
