Not quite ready for the convention center! But just last Saturday we had
our Annual Family Reunion. We started doing this after Mom went to be with
the Lord in 1999. Dad had gone to be with Him in 1989. Each sibling's family
take turns planning and hosting the Reunion year after year. So it only comes
around every ten years as there are ten of us now. We lost our first sibling (a
brother Sept 07).
Having this Reunion each year and then we do the same at Christmas (Annual
Family Christmas Party). The ten siblings and their families all join together for
a day to enjoy a wonderful meal with everyone bringing homecooked, etc. food.
We even have a family cookbook with recipes from favorites of the family for
several generations.
These Reunions keep us close and connected. Things
connected keep their energy.(Power). Keep charged! It's when we dis-
connect from the Power source that things can happen.
Pharoah wanted Abraham and the men to go on out and sacrifice to their God,
BUT leave the women, children and cattle there. But old Abraham knew that
isolating/or seperating the families would not work. He told Pharoah that they
didn't have a "hoof" to leave behind. In other words they were not leaving any-
thing behind. Not even a beast. We should be that way about our families!
We must take ALL with us as we will not pass this way again.
Praying people, connected to the main source of Power (GOD) can pull down
strongholds of the enemy.
Gal.3:29,
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the
promise.
What promise? The promise of eternal life, the Holy Ghost. That in thee and
thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
We had the Reunion at the Community Park in our city, reserved in ad-
vance for the occasion.
Blessings,
