I am curious, if you'll indulge me... Is there some sort of age requirement for a youth pastor?

If someone had a passion for God, youth, had received the HGB and the only obstacle was their view of the godhead and I felt they were teachable, I would hire them. I can teach about the godhead, but you can't teach passion....it has to either be there or not.
Not really thinking of an age requirement...passion and love for the Lord is more important.

As well as a passion for OUTREACH And a desire to work with YOUTH!!!
Our youth pastor is 22. There couldn't be a better man for the job IMO! He is absolutely AWESOME! Our youth group has doubled in size-- and is still growing. He leads by example-- the youth of ALL ages love him.
And NO, he's not going to know about this position-- because we're not letting him leave!!
Our Youth Pastor, whom we've been privileged to have for 3yrs is going to be venturing into the music industry. He and his wife are very talented. His passion is music and he and I have been working together to help him work through this decision. So.........we need to find another Youth Pastor. I would really like someone with a oneness background. Most of you know who we are and where we stand on most issues. My pastorate and church is an open book.
