Re: Culottes?

My daughter wear culottes, we order them online. She can run/bike freely.

I will get off my soapbox now...
I have to agree with you on this one.

Members don't wear culottes. Nonmembers can do as they please.
Not a part of an organization. I don't think any church we associate with does.

I grew up wearing the shorts with the flaps that made them look like skirts. Mom wasn't affiliated with an Apostolic church, but she was very particular about anything "revealing".

To say that they permit this would presume that they take a position on this issue at all.

They don't.

So yes and yes, I guess? Except that sounds funny to say since it's not mentioned anywhere at all!

Well, if they don't "pertain" to the man, then they should be okay for the ladies, right?

I wish we could all see just how silly these things are in the eyes of the rest of Christendom. Christian girls are being held in rape camps because of their faith and we're arguing about the exact placement of the inseam on a garment. Christians are being slaughtered and murdered for their testimony that Jesus Christ is Lord, while we and the "WellIdodeclare.Org!" folks are yammering on about "bifurcated garments."

The whole Apostolic Faith movement seems to have rendered itself useless and irrelevant and the devil didn't even have to lift a finger to get it done. We did it to ourselves.

This type of silence on such an issue reveals a bit a wisdom, IMHO.

Just get the loins girded up. It's really as simple as that.

And you can be a lady and still be very active. Ride horses, climb trees, play on the playground. Nothing unladylike about it.
What else should a woman be expected to wear engaged in this particular activity?
