It is good for businesses to contribute to those with needs, but corporate giving does not negate the giving of the business owners.

Yes, but a lawsuit in any situation should not be the automatic response. Other avenues of reconciliation or restoration should be considered first. Of course, it depends on what is meant by "lawsuit". If a leader molests a child, is such covered up by the church and no charges pressed because "brother should not go to law against brother"? That would be wrong. Legal action in cases of blatant wrongdoing or immorality should be taken as soon as possible.
On the other hand, if two people are just bickering or are in dispute over a matter, take that to the church first-and I don't mean by gossiping about the other person!!
