Holiness standards is NOT part of the gospel. The gospel is the death-burial-resurrection-return of Christ and our identification with that gospel by obeying
Acts 2:38. However after one has obeyed the gospel and become a member of the Lord's church there are Biblical edicts and commands that will make us to be pleasing in His sight and the disobedience of them will cause us to be lost.
