A couple things to consider:
911 told him you don't need to do that which is not really a command. There's no proof he pursued the teen to an altercation. Besides what law was broken after he was told he didn't "need to do that" even if did follow? He states he was on way back to his truck when Martin approached him, is there any evidence to disprove that claim?
We all can have feelings about what we think might have happened but to convict there must be proof which at this point doesn't seem like there is much.
