Jay, you should go and read that genetics and society website I posted. The abortion issue is bad enough. Take a look at the website to see what kind of experiments the scientists have done and are contemplating on doing in the future such as "German scientists who want to make transgenic monkeys with human genes". I suppose if human life can be degraded in the womb, then a case can be made for the mixing of the two species as in the article above.. After all, if it is not human in the womb, then it won't be destroying the dignity of human life...because the "embryo" is not human type of mentality.
