noe you didnt look it up the assault had to do with undercover cops. that was physically beating his friend. he jumped in to help his friend. had the cops revealed who they where there would have been no issue, but they didnt. all he saw was 2 guys beating up his buddy and he came to his aid....
he was charged with assaulting the cops, it was dropped because the cops failed to show identificaton. Had they shown it there would have been no confrontation.
