How would you handle it- disrespectful loggers.
We are having 25 acres logged. I understand that these guys usually work out in the woods without people around... but I made it clear from the beginning that this is a farm... we have livestock... we have fences and gates that are there to keep said livestock in...
Yet day after day I find gates left open... today they let 15 head of momma cows and calves out and they traveled 1/2 a mile before I found they were gone... Getting them home through the woods was hot sweaty work...and it's not like any of them climbed down off a piece of equipment to help.
My Dear Husband says they will only be here a short time more and if we offend them they may leave a bigger mess (impossible, they've even dropped trees on my brand new field fence) or not pay us fairly (quite possible since the 'every Friday' pay got skipped last week because the owner needed the money)... Personally I'm ready to let the chips fall where they may and roll some heads...
I hate to be a meany but I don't want to wait until something dies to address the problems.
