Re: Favorite Movie of All Time
I've enjoyed this thread tremendously!!! I saw a couple of my own all-time-favorites show up on other people's lists. Guess we're not that different after all, huh?
My list in no particular order is:
1. Ten Commandments (I know it's not biblically accurate, but I still love it!)
2. Fallen (with John Goodman and Denzel Washington)
3. Cast Away, Sleepless in Seattle & You've Got Mail (Love Tom Hanks in almost anything)
4. Ever After & Love and Basketball (I'm a Hopeless Romantic)
5. A Bronx Tale & Goodfellas - love a good mob movie)
6. Rocky I, II, III and IV (I am orignaly from Philly, been around boxing the first half of my life)
7. Pillow Talk (and most other Doris Day movies of that era)
8. The Last Samari and Memoirs of a Geisha (other cultures interest me)
9. Alfred Hitchcock Fillintheblank (old horror movies or no horror movies at all)
10. Back to the Future 1 and 2 (Who doesn't like those I'm going back into the past to fix the future movies?)
11. Schindlers List, Florence Nightingale (1985), Mississippi Burning (love just about anything historical if it's done well)
Thanks to this thread I have a list of new-to-me movies I'm looking forward to watching in the near future. The Courageous Heart of Irene Sendler is at the TOP of that list!
