This discussion makes me think of Job, who suffered a tremendous blow to his life, and was in the depths of despair, questioning God... and then had to realize in this moment...
Job 42:3 "Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not."
God designed us with a will to choose... and it is what we do with our will that marks our destiny.
