Indeed there is a correlation. But in correlating these scriptures, it is error to jump into Preterist doctrine that keeps cropping up after some time remaining dormant. We just need to know how and why they correlate without swallowing everything that comes down the pike from the preterist.

I was a staunch Catholic for 22 years. I'm telling you when I was Drum Major for our High School band I knelt by the goal post, did the sign of the cross and prayed! Looking back on that, I just don't see what they have to do with anything at all. I don't see the importance.

I don't see the importance either. I do see and admire their attitude of strict devotion. I always have.

I'm also tired of hearing every little gadget that comes along might be the Mark of the Beast. It's just seems silly and superstitious.

You never heard it from me. I teach spiritual things to spiritual minded people who love things of the Spirit. I don't wallow in all of those dumb imaginations that some futurist have. Neither do I wallow in that dead history junk of the past (preterism) either.

I see some truth and some things that don't seem to pan out in all views.

That's good. I suppose in the end, the Word of God may prove out to be the Truth. What do you think?
