But we have family that I would consider con-- We actually spent Christmas with them. There is no issue for my immediate family, and I don't think that there is for theirs either. In fact, our kids shared clothes (none of the ones they borrowed from my daughter were immodest in their sense of the word), but I will say that aside from clothing we tend to be a little more conservative in our lifestyle and what we allow, than they do. So we lay it all out and everyone is respectful.
We LOVE each other, and though we may not agree on some things, neither one of us are out to change the other. I LOVE being around my Con family, and I think they like us too!
Oh and we do discuss it... but it always in loving terms

It is funny...I can really relate because I have three sides to the scenario...I am the only one in my family that is apostolic....and then on the in-laws...there is a mixture of standards. My husband is 5th generation. We really enjoy being together also. The ribbing is always humorous. Some friends have been a different a story, sad to say.
