I have observed some conservatives are very uncomfortable with Christians (or even non-Christians for that matter) who are more liberated than they are themselves.
As a conservative:
1. Do you feel anger or a rightous indignation when around those with a more liberal lifestyle?
2. Do you feel extremely distracted or irritated when a women in slacks and earrings, or a man in shorts
worships God with you at church?
3. Do you feel it is your duty to tell other other Christians they are wrong and you are right in lifestyle?
4. Are you content to show your more conservative lifestyle as appealing?
Disclaimer: Concerning dress and adornment my family and I live quite conservatively - even by UPC standards. My wife and children have long hair (even uncut) and they do wear skirts rather than pants. We wear very little jewelry and my own ears aren't pierced etc... But we do not look down on others - niether in word or practice. We have had many discussions in our community about our modest dress (partly due to the TV show we were part of) but never with the attitude of superiority because of our choices.

They've been liberated from their walk with God.
Do I become irate with their decision, no, it's their choice.
