I don't want to belittle anyone or group, but as a conservative young person I've noticed in our ring of fellowship(mostly independent some upc) that at conferences and other events the ones that are generally dressed to the nines are those that are the well known young people who are generally used on the platform. My kids and I have noticed just the opposite. My kids will knot go to UPC events. They say and i agree that the young people dress worldly and talk worldly. My 18 year old son tells me that they talk about movies and sports and all kinds of worldly things. They dress ungodly and are in their little clicks and are stuck up.
We find that the ind event (which have some of the good con. UPC churches involved ) are just the opposite,. The young people are friendly and yes they tend to dress better. They dress appropriate for the house of God. Another reason we like it.
