Assuming that a person can believe, then stop believing and then start believing again then that is exactly what I am saying. By the way, it's great that you are mocking, but that only tells me you haven't really thought these things through.
When Jesus told Nicodemus about being born again it was an analogy. You are so stuck on having to have the analogy make sense in every situation that you cannot see the truth for the analogy. The truth is that we know the fate of unbelievers and we know the fate of believers. Unbelievers don't go to heaven. Believers go to heaven. You are caught up on not understanding how people say a person can be "re-born again" but I don't understand how you can say that a hellbound unbeliever can have the Holy Spirit when scripture makes it plain that those who have the Spirit of Christ will go to heaven. So I would rather be accused of having a person be re-born again than be accused of having a hellbound unbeliever having the Holy Ghost.
