Mark Hanby Ministries - About
Purpose
The purpose of Mark Hanby Ministries is to teach, promote and impart foundational truth to the Body of Christ. This purpose is accomplished by providing resource materials that focus in three areas: Kingdom alignment, Spiritual order, and Ministry networking.
-Kingdom alignment refers to biblical truth applied to the community of faith, both corporately and individually.
-Spiritual order refers to theocratic church government and foundational understanding in spiritual authority.
-Ministry networking to the establishment of true apostolic relationships among leaders in the family of God. I just bought a book written by him called THE MINISTRY OF THE SAINTS.

I read his "
You Have Not Many Fathers" awhile back... The forward to his book was devoted to his dad, S.R. Hanby, a pentecostal pioneer. The book seemed to me to suggest a "school of the prophets" sort of thing where accountability goes directly to him if he has been your "father" in ministry.
This also includes financial responsibility (tithes & offererings). He is an extremely gifted man...
I don't know where he is in his walk today and use discretion in how I "hear" him. I'll give my reasons in personal messages.
I do believe that in his early ministry he was a "prophet" for the church in providing direction for new wineskins. I would consider his past ministry very similar to that of Kenneth Phillips. On the non op side, I'd say David Wilkerson.
Most NT prophets in organizations are "experts on prophecy". However, this thread is about defining a NT prophet.
Who are some NT prophets out there? Are there some on TV? Radio? Are they all Baptist? Pentecostal?
And then, what qualifies them - what distinguishes them - as being prophets as described in the New Testament?
