We drove a loaded Explorer Limited today - hugh sigh - I loved it, but he didn't like it at all. Of course, he didn't like the leather. He said when he was driving it was like looking through a tunnel. He didn't feel comfortable in it and I felt totally comfortable. This is turning out not to be as fun as I thought it would be. LOL! The last two times we chose what we wanted right away and now we aren't sure.

Remind me again WHO is going to be driving it?

I know, right?! If he can't see out of the vehicle, I'll have to take him to the eye doctor.
Seriously, at the end of the day, we will be in full agreement on whatever we choose. We always are.
He told me he would test drive the Explorer again and I have agreed to look at the Escape again. LOL! The Escape, Edge and Explorer have been in the top 10 SUV's sold last year and this year as well. Can't be too bad.

If the Explorer is basically the same as a Mountaineer you will love it!

It is a cool pic! Yes, lots of fun. He already broke a dozen eggs on the kitchen floor.
I am so honored that God has chosen to trust our family to take care of her and her son.

I did absolutely love the Explorer, but the body shape has changed. It seems like there are blind spots. That is what my husband was uncomfortable with. Even though I was comfortable in it, I did think it had some major blind spots.

Oh my goodness - I hate the Escape!!!! Felt totally unsafe. The cab is just way too small. If you have leg room in the backseat, it is not as much in the front.
We were test driving it and the salesman said, "We can pull over and have Mrs. **** drive."
I said, "I don't need to drive it. I would rather ride a bicycle than buy this vehicle."
My husband retorts, "Sounds good. You'll be saving me money."
Okay, on to checking out the Edge.

We are Ford people, so don't throw in other options.
We already have a Taurus and an F-150. We are thinking of an Explorer or an Escape. Don't want anything too big. I was reading a couple of negatives on the Escape - bad performance of rear drum brakes and the back seats don't recline and are hard to fold down.
I was reading that handling things on-line is a great way to start as it lets the dealer know you are an on-line shopper. My husband isn't big about doing something like that. So, maybe I could do it on the sly?

You negotiate a car sale like this! (talking to the car sales man and finance manager) Listen here cuzz! This all Imma' gonna pay you! You either have two choices. You can accept my offer now, or, I'll punch you in the mouth, knock out your teeth, and you can accept my offer while being toothless, your choice.
Always works!
