Had a Tarus bought from Carmax and sold it to a neighbor down the street when he got a company car...Chrysler...he is NOT a Chrysler man. It is a 300 and says it looks like a Mafia car. lol
I have a Mountaineer that I love.
I am with you PO on the leather seat. Don't know why anyone would want anything else in a car. Cleans up so well.
As to color...personally I don't like silver, even though my husband last two cars have been silver. I prefer white for the south, but like the looks of the red and really loved the teal when it was "the" color, back in the day.
My car has a little less than 100,000 miles and our Crown Vic we had over 200,000 miles before Tropical Storm Francis totalled it out.
The have quit making the Mountaineer which I really like.

*Sigh* I know. I love leather. He's always hated our Towncar because of the leather interior. And really, it is always so hot and you always have to be treating and taking care of the leather. In a way, it is kind of a pain.
We drove a loaded Explorer Limited today - hugh sigh - I loved it, but he didn't like it at all. Of course, he didn't like the leather. He said when he was driving it was like looking through a tunnel. He didn't feel comfortable in it and I felt totally comfortable. This is turning out not to be as fun as I thought it would be. LOL! The last two times we chose what we wanted right away and now we aren't sure.
